The what and how

It's so nice to see you here! I'm Leisha and I have been a stylist for 12 years now, but what you really should know about me is that I love to travel, I have an amazing husband of 12 years, my dogs are my best friends, I'm always down to go to a book store, and I would make a really good music trivia partner. I have such a love for this industry and it constantly inspires me how much it continues to evolve. Which is why I have come to realize that there is still a missing piece in this industry and that focuses around the overflow salons have been experiencing and also that it is very difficult to take any sort of maternity or medical leave without feeling like you might lose most of your business.

This is something I want to change, creating more income for the salons and peace of mind for the stylists. The traveling hairstylist is where I come in on a temporary contractual basis, think of me like the "overflow stylist" to the salon who is turning away clients because they have no where to put them for 8+weeks or think of me as a "fill-in" for the stylist who is going on a maternity leave and just needs someone they trust to take over their clientele for a couple months so they can still have a full business to return too.

So what does this look like exactly?

1

Discuss Roles

First we decide if I would be a great fit for your business and clientele, and decide in what role are you seeking? Are you looking for extra help for an assistant role, someone to help take over your clientele while you are gone on a leave, or maybe you are an owner with an open chair and new clients on a list waiting for an appointment?

2

Determine Schedule

Then we will determine what length of time is best suited for this role and what schedule I would be coming into within this role. Along with this we can also establish the space being used as I will supply all of my own tools (irons, shears, bowls, brushes, etc.) unless you have preferred items you choose to supply.

3

Establish Price

Lastly we will establish price as I charge a daily rate in whichever role you see fit. This allows all transactions to remain in your system with your clients, eliminates you having to pay for employee taxes, and allows you to keep your profits made each day without having to take into consideration of commission rates. The rate is subject to change based on area and specializations.
